Check out the views from the first island of the four manmade islands in the complex. Here you and your dog can observe Navy and commercial ocean-going ships, gliding through one of the world's busiest shipping channels. Or bring your loved one a sea food doggy bag from the Sea Gull Pier Restaurant. Then stroll onto the Sea Gull Fishing Pier and cast your line for blues, trout, flounders or sharks. Kiptopeke State Park, 375 acres for camping and hiking is one half miles away. The park is a stop-over station for migrating birds so bring binoculars.
