Francis Dunnery - Interview by Laz Pujol
Misery is Optional

Dunnery & Colin & Pujol & Moe
UD Do you have a motto?

FRANCIS Yeah, misery is optional.

UD I like that. I was looking at the CD cover of your first album "Fearless." You had long blonde hair, and your music was very dark and angry. There is a big difference between the two Francis Dunnerys, you've changed your life in every aspect possible. Have you kept any of the people that were surrounding you during those dark and angry days? The drugs, the alcohol, I'm sure there were many people that sidetracked you, the bad influences, have you cleaned house?

FRANCIS I think when you clean up on the inside, it automatically reflects on the outside. It really does. As I cleaned up on the inside the outside takes care of itself. So basically, just take care of yourself in the inside, things will be fine on the outside. They can't not be. You create your own reality through your thought projection. So in a physical answer to your question, yes, people have disappeared from my life like fucking magic because I am no longer reflecting them.
