There were over 100 dealers selling everything from baseball cards to antique tools. I found some wonderful pieces of Hull and McCoy Pottery. McCoy was founded in 1899 in Roseville Ohio, Hull, Crooksville, Ohio. In the late 1800's Ohio was known as the pottery center of the world and still is, if you ask any Ohioan. I'm presently working on a small collection of teapots. Hull, Hall, McCoy and Roseville are my favorites. You can find them, but, finding them at a good price is a challenge and a big part of the fun. Kyle didn't catch any fish.

Flea Market When we are in New York, my hunting is done on weekends in a forest of noisy traffic, behind a chain link fence. It doesn't matter, after ten minutes, I'm in a zone. In New York, I wear clothes with lots of pockets and take taxis. When it is rural, all you need is wheels, a cooler filled with water, juice, fruit and snacks (you won't want to stop for lunch), sunglasses, Advil (just in case), comfortable shoes (I prefer sneakers), cash, a few checks, some ID, and most importantly, a desire to haggle (it's expected). Go early for the best catches, late for the best deals. When leaving early in the morning, remember to dress in layers so you can Flea Market remove clothes as the day warms up. Some people like company or have a need for a second opinon. Some people go for the bargains - others enjoy people watching. I prefer to hunt alone - no distractions, no lagging behind, no competition, no opinions. Hey, this is way beyond need, buddy. This is about the art of the hunt. Desire. Urban desires.

Get out of my line of fire. Here's a dollar. Go buy yourself a hot dog. I see a cookie jar I can't live without. - G.S.
